Good cards, slow shipping

Has anyone else noticed slow shipping from Equal Eats? My fish allergy cards took nearly 2 weeks to get here. The cards themselves are great though, really clear and helpful for eating out.

Consistent quality, returning customer

This is my third time buying from Equal Eats. I first got a peanut allergy card a few years back, then a tree nut card last year. This time, I needed an egg allergy card for a new diagnosis. Each card has been consistent in its quality and the translation seems reliable – never had a problem with it being misunderstood overseas. Delivery is always within the timeframe they give, sometimes a little earlier. I keep coming back because I know what to expect, and they always deliver a good product that helps me travel with less worry. They're my go-to for these types of cards.

Consistent quality, keeps me coming back

This is my third time ordering from Equal Eats. I first got a peanut allergy card a couple years ago, then a tree nut one, and this time I needed a dairy allergy card for an upcoming trip. Every time, the process has been really consistent. The cards are always professionally translated and the quality is good. They usually ship within a few days, and I've never had an issue with delivery. It's reliable, which is why I keep choosing them for my travel needs.

Mostly positive experience

I purchased a vegan translation card for my trip to Japan. The online ordering was simple enough, and I received the digital card instantly, which was great. The translation seemed accurate; I didn't have any issues at the restaurants. The only minor thing was that the option for selecting multiple languages for one card wasn't super clear initially, I had to double-check their FAQ. It worked out, but a slightly more intuitive interface for complex orders would be a small improvement. Still, the card itself was very useful and saved me a lot of hassle.

Good cards, quick delivery

I ordered a custom food allergy translation card for my son's peanut and tree nut allergies before our trip to Italy. The ordering process was straightforward on their website. I chose the Italian translation. It arrived within five days, which was faster than I expected based on the shipping estimate. The card itself is a sturdy plastic, like a credit card, and the translation looked professional. We used it at a few restaurants, and it really helped explain things to the waitstaff without any language barriers. It definitely made dining out less stressful. Customer support wasn't needed, so I can't comment there. Overall, a solid product that delivered on its promise.

So helpful for travel

Got a couple of those celiac disease translation cards for our vacation. Honestly, it was so much easier than trying to explain 'gluten-free' in broken Spanish every time. Just handed the card over, and they got it. Made eating out way less stressful, which is a huge plus when you're supposed to be relaxing. The digital one was good too, just pulled it up on my phone.

Really helpful for travel

I got the gluten free dining card for my trip to Italy, and it was super handy! I used it every time we ate out, and the restaurant staff always understood. It just made eating so much less stressful, which is what you want on vacation. Felt good knowing I could communicate my needs without a hitch.

Good value for peace of mind

I was looking for something to help with my soy allergy when traveling. I found Equal Eats and saw they had a first-order discount, which was a nice bonus. I bought the digital soy allergy card and it was pretty affordable, especially with the discount. It's a small price to pay for not having to worry about my allergy in a foreign country. Definitely felt worth it for the peace of mind.

Smooth ordering process, solid product

I ordered a celiac disease translation card and a shellfish allergy card, both in French. The website was straightforward to navigate; finding the right cards and customizing them was easy. I opted for the plastic cards, and they felt very durable when they arrived. Shipping took about a week, which was as expected. I haven't needed customer support, but the overall experience from order placement to delivery was efficient. The cards themselves are clear and well-designed, with good-sized text. It's a practical item for dining abroad.

Does anyone know if these are better than the AllergyFreePassport ones? Or SelectWisely? Trying to decide which one to go with.

E Emma 2 months ago
I've only used Equal Eats, but I like that they let you customize a lot. My friend used SelectWisely and said they were fine, but less options for wording.

Heard good things about Equal Eats' translations being super clear. My cousin tried AllergyFreePassport and said some of the phrasing was a bit awkward in Spanish, but that was a few years ago.

hey, trying to plan a trip to europe next month. if I order a few of these cards today, will they make it to like, NYC in time?

S Sophie 2 months ago
I ordered mine a few weeks ago for a trip, took about a week to get to me on the west coast. Might be cutting it close for NYC if you need it really fast.

They usually ship pretty quick, but if you're worried about timing, definitely go for the digital version. You get it almost instantly after they finalize it.

can you use more than one promo code? like a first time buyer discount AND a bundle deal?

P Phil E. 3 months ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one coupon at checkout. Most places are like that.

I've never been able to stack them there, sadly. You usually have to pick the better one.

compared to like, SelectWisely, are these any better? Or pretty much the same thing?

R Raj Brooks 2 months ago
I've used both. Equal Eats felt a bit more personalized, and I liked the option for plastic cards. SelectWisely is fine, but EE's designs were a little clearer for me.

R Raj Q. 1 month ago
Honestly, they're both good. EE has a few more options for rare allergies, I think? Just compare the languages/allergies you need.

Are these cards actually legit? Like, will a restaurant in Italy even understand it, or is it just a novelty thing?

J James Marsh 2 months ago
They're professionally translated, not just Google Translate stuff. I've used mine in France and Spain and had no problems. Chefs usually get it immediately.

Mine worked great in Japan! The translations are done by real people who know what they're doing. Made me feel a lot safer.
